What type of work might happen during the Intensive?
Depending on the background and interests of the participants, an incomplete list of practices might include: theater games, movement experiments, healing rituals, voicing, multimedia experience, performance art, journeying, ecstatic dance, visual art, writing, mixed media construction, music making.
Participants will be inspired by the diversity of gifts in the community, time spent in nature, and structured experiments designed to challenge, provoke, nurture and awaken the muse that resides within all of us.
What are the intended outcomes of The Sacred Arts Intensive?
Our interaction will stimulate and inspire new work, and deepen the expression of works-in-progress.
For participants seeking critique and feedback, of works in progress, the community may offer honest, fair reflection to help the work we create grow into its next best version. This is a space where you’ll be challenged to rediscover your essential nature as an artist.
Structure and schedule for the Intensive:
Morning: Optional Individual and independent projects
Afternoon: Optional Field trips to nearby woods, lake, various Cleveland hot spots.
6:00-7 Shared meal. 7- 10 pm. Facilitated work and deep process.
